Senegal defeated Brazil 4-2 for the very first time in their history thanks to Sadio Mane who led his teammates to that historic result by scoring a brace.

After Cameroon in Qatar 2022, Morocco in March, here is Senegal.

The Teranga Lions defeated Seleçao in Lisbon, Portugal on Tuesday night despite Brazil scoring the first goal through Lucas Paqueta (11th).

Habib Diallo brought Senegal level eleven minutes later (22nd) and both teams went to the dressing room in a stalemate.

PSG centre-back Marquinhos scored an own-goal in the 52nd minute and increased Senegal lead.

Sadio Mane made it 3-1 three minutes later (55th) with a magnificent strike before Marquinhos’ reducer three minutes later (58th).

However, Senegal got the last word with Bayern munich star Sadio Mane scoring from the penalty spot in the additional time (90+7) to make it a 4-2 victory.

Aliou Cisse’s side becomes the first-ever African team to score four goals against Brazil and the fourth from the continent to beat the Seleçao.
