AFCON U23 host country Morocco start its competition well. In the opening match played on Saturday evening, they beat Guinea 2-1.

Yet it was Guinea who opened the scoring shortly before half-time through Algassime Bah (45+2).

But in the second half, Ez Abde will first equalize on penalty in the 68th minute, before restoring the advantage to Morocco in the last seconds of additional time (90 + 8).

A cruel defeat for the Guineans who could have at least obtained a draw.
