Arsenal FC are reportedly considering the termination of Nicolas Pepe contract after the Ivorian forward failed to convince at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners bought Pepe from Lille in a club record signing €80m in summer 2019.

However, the player never met the club and fans expectations and progressively lost his spot under Mikel Arteta.

Being regularly injured as well, Nicolas Pepe was sent on loan to OGC Nice last season but he did not make a good impression either.

Now, Arsenal are willing to terminate his contract which runs until June 2024.

According to The Mirror, the London side will soon start negotiations with Pepe in order to put and end to their collaboration.

The 28-year old who scored 27 goals and provided 21 assists in 112 appearances with Arsenal has offers from Saud clubs and Turkey.
