2023 Women World Cup top scorers ahead of quarter-finals

No African player is among the 2023 Women World Cup top scorers with the last hope of the continent Morocco being eliminated by France earlier on Tuesday.

After Super Falcons of Nigeria were eliminated on Monday, all the African continent turned focus on Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses.

However, Reynald Pedros’ girls did not existed against France losing 4-0 and leaving the tournament.

Within the France squad, there are two namely Kadidiatou Diani and Eugénie Le Sommer among the top scorers so far.

The first has 4 goals while the second has 3 in this scorers chart dominated by Japan’s Hinata Miyazawa who is the only to score 5 goals.

The quarter-finals will start on Friday with Spain taking on Netherlands before Japan vs Sweden clash.
