Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand ingored Andre Onana while naming the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.

The former Red Devils centre-back is one of the most heard voices in the footablling world.

And he is always following the situation of Man United which he will forever support.

However, the club officials recently took a decision which they can regret in the future according to him.

Rio Ferdinand said Manchester United should have extended David De Gea’s contract even though they were sure of signing Andre Onana.

“I think they will miss him”, Ferdinand told TNT Sports.

“He is arguably the best shot-stopper around, and won the Golden Glove last year.

“So, I don’t think the keeper that won the Golden Glove would be relieved of his duties at a football club in any other era.

“But the way that the game’s going now, in wanting the goalkeeper to be attached to the 10 outfield players and be a footballer now, that is why we are in that situation.”
