Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre made the best XI in the Round of 16 at the Australia and New Zealand 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup put together by WhoScored.com.


Plumptre stood out during Nigeria’s 4-2 penalty shootout loss against the Three Lionesses of England.


Plumptre received an 8.55 rating from the statistics website whoscored.com and was chosen player of the game.

She completed three tackles, completed three dribbles, and hit the woodwork once, in addition to winning a whopping 11 aerial duels.
