
Nigeria and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has emerged as summer target for La Liga giants FC Barcelona.
The 26-year old was close to leaving Foxes this summer as Nottingham Forest wanted to sign him.
However, the deal fell through and Ndidi stayed with Leicester in the Championship.
The Super Eagle has 3 goals and 1 assist across all competitions with Leicester City so far this season.

But he could leave the Foxes next summer for Barcelona as reports in Spain suggest.
According to Sport, Barcelona are monitoring carefully the situation of Wilfred Ndidi in order to sign him on a free transfer as his contract will expire with Foxes in 2024.
The defending La Liga champions want to take advantadge of the opportunity this time after having failed to sign him a few years ago due to Leicester’s €70m asking price.
