Manchester United TEN HAG DECLARES ONANA FIT FOR EVERTON GAME

Manager Erik ten Hag of Manchester United stated on Friday that goalkeeper Andre Onana is prepared for Sunday’s Premier League match against Everton, although Rasmus Hojlund is questionable.

During Cameroon’s 3-0 victory over Mauritius in their World Cup qualifying match last week, Onana suffered an injury.

Andre is okay. He stepped in during training today, so he is good,” Ten Hag told reporters.

Due to a strained muscle, Hojlund, 20, was unable to play for his native Denmark last week.

He (Hojlund) is making very good steps, and we will have to wait until tomorrow to make a final decision,” Ten Hag said.

Luke Shaw, the defender, will be back in action after missing three months due to a muscle ailment.

After earning his third yellow card of the season during the victory over Luton Town, Ten Hag will not be sitting on the sidelines at Goodison Park.

Let’s say this, you are not always agreeing with the refereeing. I think many decisions this season have gone against us,” he said.

I still have to accept it, though. Being prohibited right now can be a benefit. My view is better!”

Everton is back in action following a 10-point deduction for financial sustainability violations.

“I can see the opposition and I can see they are mad,” Ten Hag said.

“If they are mad, and that’s their fuel, we have to match those standards. When we match the standards, we have a very good chance to win the game.”

United trails leaders Manchester City by seven points with 21 points, placing them sixth in the standings.
