Europa League Salah on target as Liverpool advance to Europa League knockout stage

Egyptian right-winger Mohamed Salah has written his name on the scoresheet again with Liverpool as the Reds defeated LASK 4-0 on Thursday night to advance into Europa League’s last 16 round.

Red-hot Lusi Diaz was the one who put Liverpool on the right path with the opener in the 12nd minute before Cody Gakpo scored the second goal three minutes later.

Mohamed Salah joined the festival with his own by converting from the penalty spot in the 51st minute.

That is his second goal in the competition in 4 appearances and his 12th across all competitions so far this season.

Cody Gakpo added a fourth goal in the additional time for Liverpool to seal their 4-0 win.
