England Abdul Fatawu Issahaku reacts to being voted as Leicester’s Young Player of the season

Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has reacted to winning the Leicester City’s Young Player of The season award for this 2023/24 season.

The 20-year old has been instrumental for the Foxes in the Championship this season.

The Ghana international who joined Leicester on loan from Sporting Lisbon scored 7 goals and provided 12 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku became Leicester fans’ favourite thanks to his implication and hard work.

The have voted as well as his teammates as the Young Player of the season after securing the promotion to Premier League and winning the Championship.

“It was an honour and a privilege to receive this amazing award. I want to thank my team mate and the managements for their support and encouragement throughout the season,and all the foxes,” Fatawu reacted on social media.

“I am so grateful to everyone who has always been a part of my journey. Thank you Leicester,” he addied.
