The Daily Mail reported that Jurgen Klopp has been connected to an incredible comeback to Borussia Dortmund in 2025.

After nine years in command, Klopp will depart Liverpool at the end of the current campaign, citing a “running out of energy” issue.

The Independent notes that there is increasing conjecture that the 56-year-old would take on the role of head of football at Dortmund instead of head coach.

Despite making it to the Champions League semifinals, Edin Teriz, the current manager of Dortmund, is under contract until 2025 and is under increasing pressure following a disappointing Bundesliga season.

Between 2008 and 2015, Klopp had a great seven years as Dortmund’s manager.

He guided the team to three consecutive Bundesliga titles, the German Cup, and the 2013 Champions League final, when they were defeated by rivals Bayern Munich.
