Saudi Arabia Saudi Clubs Not In Haste To Sign Salah This Summer

Clubs in Saudi Arabia will only pursue Mohamed Salah this summer if he expresses a desire to go there.

The Liverpool forward was willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia, even though Al Ittihad was willing to offer more than £100 million for him last summer.

This summer, as the professional game enters a new phase of development, Saudi Pro League (SPL) clubs will concentrate on adding younger players.

Salah’s desire to go to the Premier League and the deal’s financial viability for the purchasing team would determine any possible offer for the player.

While SPL clubs spent about £800 million in the previous summer, they anticipate a calmer summer this year.

Leading Saudi football figures advise clubs to adopt a more thoughtful and long-term strategy in the market rather than squandering large sums of money on gaudy purchases.

By June 2025, Salah will be 32 years old, and he will be out by summer.

Salah hasn’t shown any signs of wanting to leave Liverpool before his deal ends.
