Inter Miami Boss Tata Martino did not hold back while singing the qualities of his duo Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez following their incredible performance on Saturday night against New York Red Bull in the MLS.

The Argentine talsiman scored one goal and provided five assists while the Uruguayan hit-man netted a hat-trick and provided an assist as well.

Messi got 10 on several player ranking platforms while Suarez has ben given a 9 mark.

Their performance made of Martino a happy man and he said nothing but the good of them after the 6-1 win which helps them to keep their first spot in the Eastern Conference.

“He [Messi] is not the key component just because of this game. He always is,” the former Barcelona coach said, as per Goal.

“Today, the association between Messi and Luis in the second half worked well, like old times. When they find each other, the team is able to back them up in the game, and when we find space, they are very influential in the game.

“All [goals] were fundamental to the game, but Leo did something historic tonight with five assists and one goal. But I can’t forget Suarez’s three goals and Rojas’ two goals. The first, well both, but the first Rojas goal was amazing. But because of the technical aspect of Leo on the assist I will choose Luis Suárez’s scissor goal as my favorite.

“I always say this, and it’s redundant at this point, but he always does something new. To have involvement in all six goals of a team’s 6-2 is something that will be difficult to see again.”
