A 1-1 draw between Napoli, whose terrible season can’t come to an end soon enough, and struggling Udinese was secured by Isaac Success’s deft stoppage-time finish.

It was a game that involved four Nigeria players.

Victor Osimhen was the only player for Napoli while Udinese paraded three Nigerians.

Udinese are now two points behind Empoli and Frosinone, who are in the relegation zone and will be Fabio Cannavaro’s opponents in their final two games of the season, and are ranked eighteenth.

Even though eighth-place Napoli has three games left and is nine points behind Atalanta, they are eliminated from the Champions League despite Victor Osimhen’s goal.

Six minutes after the half, Nigerian forward Osimhen scored a header that went in off the post for his 15th goal in the Serie A this season.

It was the identical goal that gave Napoli their record third league victory the previous season.

Fans of Napoli, who watched their team lose the Scudetto as Inter Milan stormed to victory, will remember that night as being more than a year ago.

It provoked wild celebrations throughout Naples and a pitch invasion in Udine.
