Europa League Europa League : Ademola Lookman hat-trick wins Atalanta title ahead of Leverkusen

Heroic Ademola Lookman has singlehandedly won the Europa League for Atalanta Bergamo tonight in Dublin, Ireland with a hat-trick in final against Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen.

No one believe in them but Gasperino and his men knew what they are able to do even though they had an unbeaten opponent in front.

And it took the Italiens only 12 minutes to open the scoring thanks to Ademola Lookman who came from behind to surprise the defence.

The Nigeria star who was on a mission scored a brace fourteen minutes later (26th) to give Atalanta a 2-0 lead at the break becoming by the way the first African player to score twice in a major UEFA Cup final.

But Ademola Lookman was not yet satisfied with his performance. He eventually added a third one in the second half (76th) to seal the victory and Europa League title for the Serie A side.

The Super Eagle has been deservedly presented with the “Man of The Match” award as he made history.

Lookman is the first-ever player to have scored a hat-trick in a Europa League final.
