Bitter rivals Manchester City and Manchester United will face off in the 143rd FA Cup final under the renowned arch of Wembley Stadium, a rematch of last year’s Manchester derby.
The two sides may have been polar opposites in terms of consistency in recent years, but after reaching this event in consecutive years, 2024 represents the first time the FA Cup final has been contested by the same two clubs in back-to-back seasons since 1885, 139 years ago.
Man City won last year and are vying to keep England’s oldest trophy and hoist it aloft for the eighth time in their history, while the Red Devils are out for revenge and want to win the famous prize for the thirteenth time.
A victory will save Erik Ten Hag from the hammer and qualify the Red Devils to play in Europa League next season.
