Africa Soccer 2026 WCQ : Morocco names 27-man squad to face Zambia, Congo Brazzaville

Walid Regragui, Morocco Atlas Lions unveiled a group of 27 players this Tuesday at the Mohamed VI Complex to face Zambia (June 7) and Congo Brazzaville (June 11) as part of the 3rd and 4th matchday qualifiers of 2026 World Cup.

Apart from captain Romain Saïss who missed the two friendly matches in March against Angola (1-0) and Mauritania (0-0) and is back, there is no surprise for the rest with the presence of other key players like Yassine Bounou, Achraf Hakimi, Hakim Ziyech, Sofyan Amrabat, Youssef En-Neysri and obviously Brahim Diaz who is there, he who recently switched his sporting nationality, moving from Spain to Morocco.

The Lions host the Chipolopolo of Zambia on June 7 in Agadir before traveling four days later (June 11) to Kinshasa to challenge the Red Devils of Congo Brazzaville.
