Uganda DONE DEAL: Ashraf Mugume signs deal to stay at KCCA FC

Ashraf Mugume has committed his future to Ugandan Premier League outfit KCCA FC for another three years until the end of the 2026–27 season.

Mugume joined KCCA FC in June 2020 and signed a four-year contract until the end of the 2023–24 season. The FUFA Juniors League graduate has been an integral member of KCCA FC since joining the club in 2020.

On signing the new deal, Mugume said: “I feel delighted to commit my future to KCCA FC. I have been happy since joining the club in 2020. The first days at the club were a little tough as I had to adapt to a new environment but thanks to my teammates that made me feel at home.

“I am now a better player and have gained experience over the years. I am fully committed to the club and I want to win with KCCA FC. I have had several conversations with the manager and I am aligned to his philosophy and hopefully, we can achieve many great things with this group.”

In the 2023–24 season, Mugume was third on the goals chart with 7 league goals for KCCA FC only behind Shaban Muhammad and Usama Arafat on 17 and 8 respectively.
