Transfer window Iheanacho Set To Move To Saudi Arabia

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is the subject of transfer speculation, with a renowned Saudi Arabian club expressing great interest in acquiring his talents.

Iheanacho spent seven years at Leicester City, where he made over 100 appearances and won the FA Cup, Community Shield, and EFL Championship.

Last season, he scored six goals in 26 matches across all competitions, helping Leicester win the EFL Championship and return to the Premier League.

However, Leicester City announced on June 7, 2024 that Iheanacho would leave the club at the end of the season.

The Nigerian forward’s prospective move to Saudi Arabia would add him to a growing list of international talents, like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Karim Benzema, who have lately moved to the Saudi Pro League.

Iheanacho’s exit from Leicester has been confirmed, and he is allegedly close to finalising a contract to join the ambitious Saudi team, where he will offer his experience and goal-scoring ability.

If finalised, the transfer will open up a new chapter in Iheanacho’s career, allowing him to exhibit his talents on a larger stage while also contributing to Saudi Arabia’s growing football profile.
