The Nigerian Super Eagles lost ground in the latest FIFA rating, dropping two spots, thus their victory over the Black Stars of Ghana in Marrakech, Morocco, was not very significant.
The position slide would have been caused by the team’s 2-0 loss to the Eagles of Mali in the second game.
The Super Eagles are currently ranked 30th in the world, down from their February 28th rating, according to the most recent ranking, which was made public on Thursday morning.
