Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has won at least a share of the Castrol Golden Glove, claiming the prize in his first season with the Gunners.
Raya has 14 Premier League clean sheets, a total that can still be matched by Jordan Pickford but can no longer be beaten after his nearest rival conceded in Everton’s 1-1 draw at Luton Town on Friday.
Raya is the third Arsenal ‘keeper to win the Golden Glove after Wojciech Szczesny and Petr Cech, who took the accolades in 2013-14 and 2015-16 respectively, with 16 clean sheets each.
He is the third Spaniard to claim the award after David De Gea, who won it in 2022-23 and 2017-18, and Pepe Reina, who claimed the prize in three consecutive seasons from 2005-06 to 2007-08.
