Ghana Black Stars squad for Sudan double header as Wakaso, Boye, Baba return

Charles Akonnor have revealed the list of Black Stars who will play Sudan’s back to back clash this month by calling back Mubarak Wakaso, John Boye and Baba Rahman.

Apart from these three comebacks, Akonnor also called Columbus Crew’s full-back Harrison Afful.

Though the presence of Baba Rahman, left out by Chelsea this season surprises, John Boye who is controlling the defence of French side Metz FC is rewarded for his performances. Same to Wakaso with Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.

Moreover, most of the players that played against Mali (defeat 3-0) and Qatar (win 5-0) during the last international break, are all included in this list.

In addition, Ghana will host Sudan on November 12 before traveling to for the return leg on 17th of this month for the matchday 3 and 4 of 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
