Zambian striker Patson Daka has been ruled out of action for three weeks at Leicester City after picking an injury.

City manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed on Sunday ahead of the game against Manchester City that Daka would be out for three weeks.

Daka was not part of the squad that played in the game which Manchester won 6-3.

The former Red Bull Salzburg striker pulled out of the squad due to the injury.

The Zambian has been in excellent form of late scoring seven goals and providing four assists in nine games of all competitions.

Daka’s absence is a blow for City who are set to lose Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho to the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon from next month.
