Liverpool Salah Showed Frustration After Liverpool’s River Score Over Bournemouth

In search of a reaction following their 2-1 loss to bitter rivals Manchester United last week, Liverpool made light work of Bournemouth and got back to their goal scoring best.

The Reds thus equaled the record of the largest Premier League victory ever after destroying their promoted opponents 9-0 at Anfield on Saturday.

However, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah ended the game having no goal contributions. And the Egyptian King declined a post match interview as he reflected on his performance.

Luis Diaz and Roberto Firmino scoored a brace each, while Harvey Elliot, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Fabio Carvalho all have their names on the scoresheet.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Salah was approached for a post match interview of which he declined, which could have suggested his frustration at not getting on the scoresheet.

However, it was reported that Salah ‘chuckled’ after responding with a ’No’ to doing a post match interview for the Mixed Zone.

I didn’t score any!” Salah said according to the Liverpool Echo, as he walked off while having a light moment with the journalists after the game.

In the current campaign, Salah featured on five occasions for Liverpool, scoring three goals while recording one assist along the way.
