AFCON U17 AFCON U17: Nigeria Golden Eaglets Undergoes MRI Test

The CAF-organized magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was conducted on Nigerian Golden Eaglets on Tuesday ahead of the 2023 AFCON U-17 tournament in Algeria.

For all 12 competing countries, including Nigeria, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will perform MRI exams to get them ready for the competition, which begins on Saturday.

The competition is open to those who successfully completed the test.

But the CAF has made it clear that any squad with four test-failures will be barred from the biannual age-grade competition.

The five-time world champions will engage in physical contact with Zambia in their opening encounter of the group on Sunday before playing South Africa and Morocco later in the day.

The top four teams in Algeria will advance to the FIFA U17 World Cup finals later this year to represent Africa.
