Premier League Not Haaland – Rio Ferdinand names his Premier League POTY

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand snubbed Erling Haaland while naming his Premier League player of the year.

Only four games remain before the end of this 2022/23 season in the Premier League.

With the players for the Team of the season being already revealed, Ferdinand makes his mind clair onwho should be the league’s player of the year.

“I’d go as far as to say right now, he [Odegaard] is probably my player of the year,” the new Premier League Hall of Fame inductee said on Vibe With Five.

“Haaland has done what he’s done, he has been great, don’t get me wrong.

“If Haaland eases up with the goals and Arsenal win the league and Odegaard continues, he’s my player of the year.”

As a matter of fact, Odegaard has 14 goals and 8 assists in 33 Premier League appearances while Haaland is the top scorer with 34 goals and 7 assists in 30 matches.
