Cristiano Ronaldo was on the score sheet inTuesday’s 2-0 Saudi Premier League victory by Al Nassr over Al Tai.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United player gave his team the lead with a penalty kick in the 52nd minute, and teammate Anderson Talisca doubled the advantage just before the end of regulation to give Al Nassr, who is currently in second position, the victory.

Even more significantly, SPL leaders Al Ittihad drew with Al Hilal after blowing a 2-0 lead of their own, allowing Al Nassr to close the gap on first place in the standings.

Al Ittihad and Al Nassr are tied for first place with three games remaining in the league season with 63 points each after 27 games.
