The Teranga Lions of Senegal will take on Brazil in a friendly game next month as part of their matches for June international FIFA break.

Senegal Football Federation and that of Brazil have reached an agreement to play a friendly game in June, reports local media Taggat.

The game is scheduled to be played on June 20 in Lisbon at Alvalade Stadium.

Before that game, Sadio Mane and teammates will take on Benin for the matchday 5 of 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on June 17.

The Teranga Lions have already booked their place for the tournament which is scheduled for January-February 2023.

The first and only time Senegal and Brazil faced off was in October 2019 and it ended up in a 1-1 draw with Roberto Firmino and Famara Diedhiou from penalty being scorers.
