“We spoke just before we went to the pitch and said, ‘Do you want to play vs Inter to not? Ask yourself'”, he revealed.

“If you play 90 minutes playing thinking you want to play vs Inter, you’re going to beat Real Madrid. They played in that spirit.”

He was further asked on a possible treble at the end of the season. “Let me win the first two”, Guardiola replied.

“The Premier League, we’re close. We play against our neighbours [Man United in the FA Cup final] and an Italian team in the finals.

“We’re there, the players can think about it, visualise it. They have the feeling, we’re three games away.”, he added.
