Africa Soccer Motsepe, FIFPRO Agree To Take Africa Football To Greater Height

Dr. Patrice Motsepe, president of the CAF, visited the FIFPRO Africa Congress today in Gaborone, Botswana, and he and the FIFPRO Africa Members decided to collaborate to elevate African football to the level of the finest in the world.

Maclean Letshwiti, the president of the Botswana Football Association and a member of the CAF Executive Committee, accompanied Dr. Motsepe.

The CAF President spoke with David Aganzo, president of FIFPRO, Geremie Njitap, president of FIFPRO Africa, and FIFPRO Leadership before to the Congress.
He also spoke with Tumiso Rakgare, the minister of youth, gender, sport, and culture of Botswana.

According to Dr. Motsepe, CAF is dedicated to promote the rights and interests of all football stakeholders on the African Continent, including players, clubs, national teams, member associations, and zonal unions.

“One of the key objectives of the African Super League is to work together with our clubs to pay football players in Africa, attractive and globally competitive salaries.

” CAF will continue to engage and work together with FIFPRO to advance the interests and rights of football players in Africa and throughout the world.

“The biggest investment we can make is in our football players and youth football.”

FIFPRO Africa President, Geremie Njitap said : “Footballers are proud about what we see at CAF today.

“We thank Dr Motsepe for engaging with us and also for his leadership at CAF.

“Today’s engagement shows that the CAF President values FIFPRO and the relationship between the players and CAF.

“We want to work close with CAF. We leave with a feeling that we are moving in the same direction.

“We are ready to work together while maintaining our own identities with the objectives of renewing our corporation agreement”
