Transfer window Yanga SC part ways with Morrison in readiness for new season

Mainland Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) have parted ways with Ghana national player Bernard Morrison.

The club’s social media outlets reported the news on Wednesday night with no more details. The social media post shared on the club’s platforms reads: “Thank you, Bernard Morrison.”

Apart from Morrison, Yanga have also released Tuisila Kisinda and Dickson Ambundo. Meanwhile, Azam FC are so far on top of the list to offload players ahead of the new season. The Ice Cream Makers have let go of Ismail Aziz, Cleophace Mkandala, Rodgers Kola, Kenneth Muguna, and Bruce Kangwa.

For Yanga rivals Simba SC, three players have departed. They include Mohamed Ouattara, Victor Akpan, and Augustine Okra. The trio, however, could not enjoy much playing time in the just ended season, which saw the Msimbazi giants finish as runners-up to Yanga in the Tanzanian Premier League.
