Uganda URA FC announce Kisiriko as first signing of the summer

Ugandan Premier League (UPL) outfit URA FC have unveiled forward Kisiriko Denis Luzige ahead of the new season.

The exciting teenage forward has penned a three-year contract to leave Edgar’s Football club and he becomes the Tax Collector’s first acquisition of the current transfer window.

“URA is delighted to announce the signing of promising and exciting teenage forward Kisiriko Denis Luzige on a three-year contract,” read part of a statement on the club’s official website, adding: “He comes in from Edgar’s Football club a side he joined this year and officially becomes our first signing.

“Kisiriko 16, who is also a student at Buddo SS was the 2022-23 Buganda Region Fufa Juniors League (U17) leading scorer while playing for Buddo Soccer Academy with 18 goals and also featured for his school during the USSSA football championship in Fort Portal City. His Composure, calmness, and a sharp eye for goal at his teenage age is some of the main reason that lured URA FC to capture his signature.”

The statement added: He will vie for upfront positions with players such as Bruno Bunyaga, Alfred Leku, Ibrahim Dada, and Vianey Ssekajugo. Welcome to the Tax Collectors family #Deno.”
