Riyad Mahrez is on the verge of joining constellation of football stars in Saudi Pro League as Al Ahli reached a total agreement with Manchester City after weeks of negotiations for his signing.
The lack of playing time is mainly one of the reasons which motivated the 32-year old’s decision to leave the Etihad Stadium.
Mahrez has also won all major trophies in club with Leicester City and Manchester City.

According to The Athletic, Al Ahli and Manchester City reached an agreement over a €30m transfer fee plus an additional €5m as add-ons.
Mahrez will sign a three-year contract with Al Ahli with a year in option.
The Algerian right-winger will undergo his medical on Thursday before being unveiled as new Al Ahli player.
Riyad Mahrez will be the third great signing for Al Ahli this summer after Edouard Mendy and Roberto Firmino.
