Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel admitted he was sad talking to Sadio Mane during their last conversation before the Senegal international’s departure for Saudi Arabia.
The fairytale between Mane and Bayern Munich did not last long despite a good start of the story.
A knee injury which prevented him from playing for six months and a brawl with Leroy Sane completely turned things the wrong way for Mane who was determined to prove his haters wrong.
However, he was not given time despite Julian Nagelsmann leaving the club as Thomas Tuchel as well did not use him as a starter for the second part of the season.

Now, both parties agreed that the best solution for him is to leave and Sadio Mane has already underwent his medical with Al-Nassr ahead of his four-year move.
Speaking before the media today, Tuchel said Mane is leaving because he and the club could not bring out the best out of him.
“Sometimes things don’t go the way we would like them to”, the German coach said in his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool friendly.
“It was a bit sad, we hugged each other in a last conversation. We want to keep in touch.
“We couldn’t bring out his full potential. It was the best solution we could come up with”
