CONFIRMED : Nigeria will face England in Women's World Cup last 16 round

Nigeria Super Falcons will take on the Lionesses of England in Women’s World Cup round of 16 as Lauren James and teammates ended on top of their Group.

England defeated China 6-1 on Tuesday to go on top of Group D with Reece James’ sister scoring a brace.

With that win, the Three Lionesses claimed the top spot in their group and that means they will face the second-based team in Group B which is Nigeria.

The Super Falcons ended at the second position in their Group being unbeaten making two draws and a win.

England vs Nigeria round of 16 clash is scheduled for Monday, August 7 at 7pm.
