Etiosa Ighodaro, a forward from Nigeria, scored his first goal for SuperSport United on Saturday in the opening match of the 2023–2024 Dstv Season.

Ighodaro, who spent last season on loan at Chippa United, transferred from Mamelodi Sundowns to SuperSport this summer.

On Saturday afternoon, SuperSport hosted Richard Bay and earned a maximum of three points from the contest.

After a scoreless first half, SuperSport’s Dzvukamanja broke the tie in the 56th minute, and Ighodaro put the game away in the 73rd.
