Leandro Paredes and Renato Sanches were both acquired by Roma from Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, strengthening their midfield.

Paredes transfers to Roma after Juventus declined to exercise their option to purchase him after his loan from PSG expired at the end of the previous campaign.
For Qatar-backed PSG, Paredes won three league championships, two French Cups, and was a losing finalist in the Champions League three years ago.
After a lacklustre campaign with PSG, Portugal’s Sanches joins the team after Nemanja Matic’s transfer to Rennes.
According to Italian media, Sanches will begin his career on a one million euro loan with the option to convert to a 14 million euro permanent transfer if he plays in 60% of Roma’s games.
The 25-year-old joins Jose Mourinho at Roma, who open their season on Sunday against Salernitana. He won Euro 2016 with his nation but hasn’t competed in an international match since 2021.
