Egyptian star Mohamed Salah was prominent for Liverpool in their 2-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday as he assisted Darwin Nunez’s second goal which sealed the three points for the Reds.

The 31-year old who is linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad was a starter with the Reds.

But, the game appearaed to be very tough for his side with Virgil van Dijk getting sent off inside 28 minutes only three minutes after Anthony Gordon scores the opener for the Magpies.

Liverpool was trailed until Darwin Nunez came in the 77th minute.

The Uruguayan netted the equalizer four minutes later before making it 2-1 for the Liverpool in the additional time (90+3) on a lovely Mo Salah assist.

Reports claim this could be the last game of the former Roma right-winger with Liverpool.
