
Tanzania were placed in group F of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals alongside Morocco, DR Congo, and Zambia.
This was revealed in a draw conducted on Thursday night in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Group A consists of the hosts Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau.
Group B has Egypt, Ghana, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
Group C contains Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea and Gambia.
Group D is made up of Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Angola.
Group E competing teams are Tunisia, Mali, South Africa and Namibia.
Ivory Coast are hosting the finals for the second time after doing the same in 1984.
