FIFA U17 WORLD CUP Senegal Unveils Final Squad for FIFA U-17 World Cup

Senegal, the defending winners of the TotalEnergies CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations, has revealed the 21-member team that will compete for the Cubs of Teranga at the FIFA U17 World Cup Indonesia 2023.

Along with Mali, Burkina Faso, and Morocco, the team is a serious contender to represent Africa at the global competition.

Amara Diouf, the captain of the Senegalese side and top goal scorer at the TotalEnergies U17 AFCON, Algeria 2023, leads the team, while Serigne Diouf, the goalkeeper, leads the final line of defence.

Unfortunately, they will be without Diambars Traore and midfield star Abdou Aziz Fall due to injuries.

The team had a strong preseason in Turkey, winning two and drawing in their local friendlies.
