Premier League Bournemouth Humiliate Man United To Pile Pressure On Ten Hag

The pressure mounted on manager Erik Ten Hag after Manchester United’s humiliating 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Dutchman was despondent as he observed his wobbly squad being well outplayed by Bournemouth in the pouring weather at Old Trafford.

Dominic Solanke’s close-range strike after five minutes gave Bournemouth a well-deserved lead at the half.

The hosts were finally starting to mount an equaliser in the second half, but Bournemouth’s two goals in five minutes—Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi, both with thunderous headers—completely stunned United’s defenders.

As Bournemouth searched for further goals, Dango Ouattara appeared to have scored one very late on, but a VAR assessment disqualified his effort for handball.

The victory did not please Bournemouth in the slightest, and the south coast team has now won four of their past five league games to move up to 13th position, which is rather safe.

Sixth-place United continues to take one step forward and two steps back, undoing all of the hard work from their stellar midweek performance.
