2023 African Football of The Year Victor Osimhen has been complimented by Confederation of African Football upon his arrival in Côte d’Ivoire for 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 25-year old is one of the players to watch out in this AFCON as he is on an excellent form with Napoli in Italy.
Osimhen has a particular motivation going into this 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as he missed the last one in Cameroon due to injury.
As Super Eagles arrived in Ivory Coast earlier on Wednesday, he posted a picture of him on social media and CAF posted a comment under it on X (former Twitter).
“We can’t wait to see you, Super Victor”, the continental football governing body wrote.
This shows that Victor Osimhen is one of the very best players at the moment in Africa and the world and expectations are high regarding him.
Nigerians have confidence in him to end the country’s AFCONdrought as Super Eagles did not win the title since 2013 when Vincent Enyema, John Mikel Obi and others were still active players.
