Nigeria Super Eagles To Play Argentina In Friendly Game

In March, the world champion Argentina will play a friendly match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Guangdong Olympics Centre Stadium in China will host the friendly.

The officials will reveal the game’s date at a later time.

For their June 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying doubleheader against South Africa and Benin Republic, the Super Eagles will use the friendly as a training ground.

Two games into the qualifiers, Jose Peseiro’s team has yet to claim a victory.

The first encounter ended in a 1-1 tie between the three-time African champions and the Lesotho Crocodiles.

Originally named the Aoti Main Stadium, the Guangdong Olympics Stadium opened for business in 2001.

The multipurpose stadium can accommodate 80, 012 people. In terms of seating capacity, it is China’s second-largest stadium.
