UEFA Champions League UCL : Three Bayern Munich players a doubt ahead of Real Madrid clash

Bayern vs Real Madrid

Bayern Munich could be racing Real Madrid on Tuesday without three of their players as they are still injured and a doubt for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

After losing all the domestic titles, Bayern Munich are concentrating all of their energy in the Champions League in order to clinch a trophy this season.

However, their chances of doing it are in jeopardy as three of Thomas Tuchel’s main assets are yet to resume training two days prior to the highly-awaited clash.

Jamal Musiala, Konrad Laimer and Matthijs de Ligt are still not training with the rest of the team on Sunday.

“Jamal Musiala stopped training yesterday [Friday], the pain came back. It was not possible to include him in the squad today. With Matthijs de Ligt [knee] and Konrad Laimer [ankle] we have to wait and see what the scans say”, Tuchel said in post-match press conference onSaturday after the 2-1 over Eintracht Francfort.

The good news is that Musiala is expected to resume training on Monday and be fit for Tuesday game while Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane were back on the picth today.
