Edo Queens emerged as champions of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Women Football League NWFL in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State following a 1-1 draw against Bayelsa Queens.
The race for who to be crowned champion dragged to the last day of the Super Six with Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens and Rivers Angels as potential champions.
However, , Edo Queens was able to play a 1-1 draw with Bayelsa Queens to emerge champions with 10 points for their maiden title.

Emem Essien put Edo Queens in front in the 29th minute before Zainab Olopade equalized for Bayelsa Queens.
In the other games Rivers Angels failured to beat Heartland Queens after it ended 1-1 apiece.
Confluence Queens wrapped their Super Six campaign with a 1-0 win over Confluence Queens courtesy of a second minutes goal scored by Regina Omede.
Edo Queens will now represent Nigeria in next season CAF Women’s Champions League.
