FIFA World Cup Otto Addo to take charge of Ghana’s Black Stars on Monday

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo will arrive in Accra on Monday, May 27, 2024 to take charge of the team on full time basis.

The former Ghana midfielder who took over from Chris Hughton in March has signed a long term deal after receiving the nod as the new coach of the team following a rigorous recruitment exercise in March.

Otto will take charge of Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic on Thursday, June 6 and Monday June 10, 2024 respectively.

Ghana will open camp on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in readiness for the two games. The Black Stars are 4th in Group I with 3 points after one win and one loss in the first two matches.
