UEFA Champions League Vinicius Jr Crowned UCL Player Of The Season As Bellingham Win young Player Award

Vinicius Junior was crowned Champions League player of the season on Monday by UEFA after leading Real Madrid to European triumph, while teammate Jude Bellingham received the young player award.

Vinicius, a Brazilian forward, scored six goals and assisted five times in Real’s successful season, including the second in the 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley on Saturday.

Real Madrid were crowned European champions for the 15th time, extending their record.

I’m very happy to be able to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much,” 23-year-old Vinicius said.

Bellingham, an England midfielder, was voted Champions League young player of the season following a remarkable debut season with the Spanish club.

The 20-year-old scored four goals and assisted five times in the Champions League for Real Madrid, which also won the Spanish league championship.

“I can’t put it into words,” he said. “It’s the best night of my life.

” It’s got to be up there in terms of the perfect season.”
