MFM FC midfielder Oladayo Alabi has appealed to the supporters of the club to throw their weight behind the team.

The Olukoya Boys will host struggling Shooting Stars at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday.

Having failed to beat Remo Stars in the first South West derby of the season, the Lagos-based team will be hoping to claim it’s first derby victory.

Alabi who spoke ahead of the game said he believes, that Lagos fans will play a huge role in the encounter, hence he pleaded for their support.

“We are pleading, begging the Lagos fans to come out fully to support us, because we really need their support.

“Seeing them hailing us on the pitch of play is a plus for us so that the morale will be high in other for to us push for the desired result.

“Tomorrow game is a must win for us. We need the maximum points to bounce back ahead of our next league game against Gombe United which I believe we will get a decent result,” he concluded.

After Matchday eight in the NPFL, the Olukoya Boys managed to gathered six points from two home matches against Plateau United and Abia Warriors.

A win over the visitors tomorrow, will take MFM FC to a better position on the league table.
