AFCON-20 AFCON U20: Flying Eagles Thrash Tunisia To Claim Bronze Medal

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles defeated the Young Carthage Eagles of Tunisia 4-0 to clinch bronze medal in the AFCON U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt .

The Flying Eagles opened the game against Tunisia with complete confidence, and they took control of the action as soon as the whistle blew.

Halfway through the first half, Nigeria took the lead thanks to a goal from Ibrahim Muhammad, giving them complete control of the match.

After two quick goals from Ahmed Abdullahi and Jude Sunday, Nigeria improved on their performance from earlier in the second half, making it 3-0 in their favor.

Late in the second half, Sunday finished his hat trick to give Nigeria a 4-0 victory.

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria finished third thanks to their victory over the North African nation and will represent Africa alongside Senegal, the Gambia, and Tunisia at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup, which will be held in Indonesia in May.
