Uganda Onduparaka FC facing relegation from Ugandan Premier League

Onduparaka FC will be relegated from the Ugandan Premier League if they fail to beat Maroons FC in a fixture at Prisons Grounds on Tuesday.

The Caterpillars are currently languishing at the bottom of the 15-team table with 16 points from 25 matches, and defeat in Luzira will send them to the FUFA Big League if Busoga United, who are away to Arua Hill on the same day secures victory.

Onduparaka have had the worst season managing only three wins, nine draws, and 13 defeats.

In the race for the title, Vipers SC will be at home – St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende – against Express FC seeking to extend their lead at the summit ahead of KCCA FC, who will host BUL FC at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Vipers are sitting on top of the log on 46 points, the same number as KCCA, and both teams have played 25 matches.

Third-placed SC Villa will travel to face UPDF at Military Grounds in Bombo, hoping that Vipers and KCCA will falter for them to regain the league lead. Villa have 46 points from 25 matches.

In other matches, Wakiso Giants will take on Soltilo Bright Stars at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stasium in Wakiso, Arua Hill will entertain Busoga United at Barifa Stadium in Arua, while Black Power will come up against Gaddafi at Akii Bua Stadium in Lira.
